Walk to Keep Kids Safe

Each spring we host our annual Walk To Keep
Kids Safe, an event that has proven successful in raising awareness and funds for the numerous years it has been planned. After months of preparation, fundraising and promoting this event, we begin the day with a private brunch where our closest friends and family join us for a silent auction. Unique jewelry, tickets to sporting events, gift baskets, and many other donated gifts are auctioned off during the gathering and all
proceeds go to PCAA.

Following this event, we fulfill our promise in the Pinwheels for Prevention Campaign when we
plant pinwheels on the Northeastern Campus.
The cascading ocean of blue pinwheels is a breathtaking reminder of the cause we are all brought out together to defend; preventing the abuse and neglect of our nation's children. When everyone has gathered, we begin the walk around the beautiful Boston Back Bay Fens.

Spring 2011
This past spring, we held our annual "Walk to Keep Kids Safe" during which 200 students, families, and members of the community joined us for a 1-mile walk around the Back Bay Fens. This event raised $3,900 for PCAA, making it one of the most successful Walks to-date for the Gammu Mu chapter, and one of the most success SDT philanthropy events nationally.
